Classics in the Chapel

Mimi, A Guitar and Piano Duo, will be supported by Don Pople, a local Violinist

Guitar and piano duets are a rare beast but in the hands of mimi (Duncan Gardiner – guitar and Setsu Masuda – piano), the result is breathtaking and beautiful. Gardiner and Masuda each bring their own specialties to create a magical blend of music including exotic impressions from Japan and Spain, to intricate works of Bach, sweet sorbets of Schubert, passionate tangos and heartfelt originals. mimi has captivated Perth audiences since their inception in 2012 and are establishing a lasting musical collaboration through their many concert engagements across the state. Don Pople, a local violinist and wine maker from Cape Mentelle, will be performing this afternoon with mimi.

There will be afternoon tea & mulled wine at the interval so bringing a small plate of something yummy would be very much appreciated.
Performance starts at 2pm.

Tickets are $25 per seat. 80 seats are available.
The takings will pay the musicians and any left-over funds, as always, will be donated to the Flying Doctors and the Salvos.
