Living Smart is an interactive 7 session sustainability course for adults (16+). Via hands-on practical activities, presentations & guest speakers we look at ways to live healthier, grow our own food, reduce our power, water & waste, create fabulous compost & make our own chemical-free household cleaners. Throughout the course you will meet inspirational locals sharing their sustainability journeys, and of course the knowledge & experience you bring is invaluable too!
Brought to you by the Augusta Margaret River Shire, this course runs over 6 weeks from 5-7:30pm Thursday 27 April to Thursday 1st June, & includes a local ‘gardening’ field trip on Saturday 20th May 2-4:30pm.
Thanks to the Shire, the only cost to you for the 7 sessions is $80 + booking fee (or $40 + bf for valid concession card holders) which goes to the not-for-profit organisation Be Living Smart!

The course will be facilitated by Laura Bailey, an experienced sustainability educator with a background in renewables, energy assessing, permaculture & regenerative farming.
